ASA: Just wondering if you have heard about the Russian doctor Natasha Campbell-McBride? She lives in the UK with her own son who had autism…but with the research that she did she was able to help her son recover from autism. When our son was 4 or 5 months old, his babbling would sound like various words. My mom swore he was saying “Lauren,” my sisters name, when in reality he was just babbling. We hear what we want to hear sometimes. Like you said, we should just smile and feel happy when Abbie’s noises coincidently sound like words that fit the situation!
