   I have suffered with anxiety my whole life. I remember being in 3rd grade and going to the doctors ALL the time getting different tests done because I had such bad stomach pains. (I missed a ton of school) Everything always came back as normal and everyone thought I was just lazy and didn't want to go to school. My parents never got me help, most likely because they had no idea what anxiety was. I didn't really know what anxiety was up until a few years ago after having my kids and started piecing everything together.

   A little over a year ago my son was diagnosed with ASD. My biggest red flag was that he was 2 and nonverbal. When we went back this past summer they also said that they feel like he has severe anxiety as well. It has been a rollercoaster, trying to work through ALL the things, keeping my anxiety in check, and doing my best to help him navigate through his anxious feelings (which is REALLY hard when he can't exactly communicate what he is anxious about)

   I'm excited to smack that chart on my fridge for both of us! Thanks for bringing more awareness to this topic. I didn't even know kids so young could suffer from anxiety until his doctor brought it up. I would probably would have thought he was just being "difficult" like my parents did with me.
