Right now I am still married to my wife. Thankfully, I work from home so I am able to put out a lot of fires and provide my child with love, nurturing and guidance. Honestly, I feel as though I have two children as I am constantly reprimanding my wife for her inability to properly care for our son. It is becoming so difficult to both make a living and raise my child in this environment as I am wearing so many hats. Meanwhile, my wife's entire family thinks I am a deadbeat dad who can't provide for his child because we are borrowing so much money from them. They have no idea what is really happening, that I am unable to work because of the lack of time and focus and unbelievable amounts of stress and worry. I honestly have no idea how to climb out of this in one piece. Thanks for all that you do. Your videos are so helpful and comforting.

Around 20:20 when you mention how the child will look forward to coming home if the custodial parent doesn't put down the other parent I agree. My child hasn't seen his narcissistic dad in almost a year but I still remember when my son would come back from his house for visitation everything was fine that evening but the next day and actually sometimes a couple of days after my son would have major meltdowns because of not being able to express his wants and needs at his father's house. It was like my son just stored all that energy of being overlooked and unheard and not having any kind of schedule the whole weekend until he got home and then he unleashed all his frustrations out on me and even his siblings. I mentioned it to the ex and he accused me of setting him off by trying to pry information out of him and that was the furthest thing from the truth. I even got to the point of not asking him if he had a fun weekend when he returned because it would trigger him to start acting up. It took a good 2 days for him to emotionally settle down after going the weekend with his dad.

This is the most agonizing situation when your kids are young. It's such a conflict as a parent to literally not be able to wait for your kids to grow up so they understand these dynamics. I feel deep sadness that I (and my kids) can't live in the wonderment of childhood. I feel robbed. I feel my kids are being robbed. This makes me angry and depressed because I know I have at least another 10 years to navigate through this. I see my nine-year-old already effected with anxiety. I see his inability to express his feelings for fear of hurting me or them. His inability to express will affect his own relationships in his adult life. He answers 9 out of 10 questions with, "I don't know". Or "maybe". He is so afraid to say the wrong thing and offend or upset somebody. They are robbing him from finding his own strength and power. They are robbing me of the ability to parent my kids the way I would if this situation did not exist. I just pray I live long enough to continue to point out the truth here. (this is definitely a personal deep-seated fear as my own dad died when I was 13. His absence has left behind many unanswered questions in my own family of origin.) I desperately don't want my children growing up thinking they created problems. I am so grateful that YOU are creating this book. I need YOU to get this information down on paper! I need my children to have this book! This will be a guide for them in their adult lives and for so many children growing up in this horrible struggle. In the event that I am not still in this earthly world, this book will be my voice. God bless YOU!

This is a wonderful video. I got so much insight into the new woman and how my narc has been acting. I see my children look forward to "coming home." They describe my place as "home" while they visit their dad. I have never thought that the new woman could be a narc but that could be very true, especially how she seems to do her own thing and doesn't go to his family's events like Christmas or Thanksgiving. I wonder if the two lions are turning on one another and that is why the narc acts like he hates me so much and acts like he is so miserable when he emails me all the nasty e-mails.

With all the narcs in my personal life. I see a strong pattern of how they felt their father/mother treated them. So much of the subconscious mind is at play here. This goes back to very early childhood. Things they probably stored in their subconscious mind and don't even remember. Plotting sister against sister brother against brother. The child with the strongest blueprint to be admired gets injured. That sets these tendencies in motion.

I believe a lot of these family dynamics could be healed. The problem is the narcs injury is so far back they don't have a conscious memory of it. How can they possibly correct something that they don't remember even took place?
