Love you Tamera!! I agree, I wouldn't pay for that, mostly because I can't afford it anyway haha. But I did want to say that: 1. Some of us don't have our mom to call on when we become mothers. In my case, my mom passed when I was 17, and I had my first baby at 27. I wish she was still here, miss her. But you are right, motherly instincts kick in and you do figure it out and I at least had other maternal figures in my life to turn to. 2. I, too, THOUGHT the lactation nurse/consultant was free help, but then i got the hospital bill and it was defs not free. Sneaky lol.

But let's be honest: Tamara is a natural mother who had a very involved mother of her own. She has siblings and likely spent some time around babies before having her own. Not everyone has those instincts or experiences. They may need help. And if they have the money, they should feel free to spend it on this. Do we really think that someone should be spending that money on…designer clothes? Are they really worth more than learning how to parent?
In today's world, not everyone has the support system and community we've traditionally had. Not everyone's mother can take the time to spend a month with them. Maybe their mother isn't a part of their lives? Maybe they've lost their mothers? I think the women here are forgetting that not everyone enjoys the same amazing parents they have.

in all reality…there are ladies who just don't know…or better they don't want to take the time to know…they choke on a bottle of water, they dramatize everything….that's when you know this person was not ready for motherhood…many ladies who have the money, they do not work, they have nannies raising their kids and keep them occupied with so many activities, hobbies etc just to keep them busy and not spend any time with them…I just feel sad for these families….I work with high end people and I see this every day…..there are nurses for the evenings so you don't have to wake up and feed your own baby at night…part of parenting 101 is loss of sleep and it doesn't last for ever…once your kids start growing up you are wishing you had them small so you can cuddles with them….kids grow up fast, enjoy it while it last 🙂
