   Theodore A Hoppe says:

   There is always so many buzz words used in these types of talks: linkage, compassionate communication, etc.
   While this may work for communicating ideas to the professional who has some training it leave the greater task of fostering these ideas in untrained parents to the therapist. Social workers have an even tougher job trying to facilitating this.
   Dan has good ideas but he is swimming against the tide in my opinion. We create the problems that need undoing. Be your own therapist.
