   Thank you….yea, just starting to see my child begin to parrot things back to me from his mother in force, and he has only just begun school! I really am shocked at times with some of the things he comes out with that he has been told…makes me cringe and i think- 'who in their right mind would tell a young child THAT?!'

   I have a six year old daughter and my partner is trying to manipulate me, when my child goes near me or try to interact with me she calls her and divert her to do something else. it is very frustrating at times because I know my daughter wants to go to me and all of a sudden I am in this situation wherein it seems like there is a competition going on which I don't want to participate in. when my daughter hugs me, she stares at her and I notice it and feel bad and angry coz' she don't care how our daughter feels. she tries to make an impression wherein she has to be the one who makes the decision when it comes to our child. She is grooming her and dressing her up as she wants and not by what my daughter wants. We are still together and I am dealing with this on a daily basis. I also saw your video on the narc trying to get a reaction from you and she do this with my daughter and when I react she goes into silent treatment as if I am the one who is doing her wrong. It is awful thing to deal with and I feel angry and frustrated most of the time.

   Thank you excellent. I never really did know what Parallel Parenting was. Even though I've been doing it for six years. The funny thing is I find that our children are more mature because they've had to deal with more struggles in life then their friends.     It’s impossible to coparent with a narcissist, I tried on several occasions to be friendly to make things pleasant for the kids, only to get verbally abused, limiting contact is the only solution. If I disagree on something concerning the kids eg, them not going to a parade while vomiting and having diarrhea, he went into a rage, cussing me in front of the kids and calling me a b*tch on social media, another tactic he would use, is sending me consent messages or videos to convince me otherwise at any hour, I will check my phone and there will be messages that he sent 3am in the morning, it can be very stressful but trying to keep it together for my kids gives me the strength to move forward.

    Dang, I sure wish we would have found these videos a few years ago. They are therapeutic, but now I feel like I could almost make them myself. Thanks, they do help reinforce that we are now on the right track and they give a few new ideas. Our situation is that my husband's ex is married to woman with these extreme narcissistic behaviors. I can't figure out if his ex is an enabler (flying monkey) or a covert narcissist. My college-aged stepdaughter moved out of their house and in with us, when not at college, a year ago, and she finally just decided to go no contact with that stepmother. That woman's own daughters moved out of their house and in with their dad a few months ago–so far no contact for them too. We have gotten to know the dad because of our shared situation, and we support each other in our pain.The hard part is that my high school-aged, mild-mannered stepson is still there with this lovely couple by himself. We only have him every other weekend and one night every other week. My husband trusted his ex that he'd get much more time with his kids. We have my stepson in therapy, but we have no idea if it has been beneficial to him. This started in 2013, and we can at least be thankful that his children weren't little children at the time of the divorce. My dad had some narcissistic traits, but this has been more than shocking to me. It felt good to vent here. Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.

    One option is to be the bigger person and remove yourself from your kid's lives. It sounds sacrificial, but the kid's don't need constant conflict, they deserve peace and stability. Kids can get by with a single parent and prosper. Be sure to maintain your financial obligations. Pick up the pieces later when your kids are no longer living with the other parent. Best option if the other parent is a narcissist. Put the kids first.
