My girls sometimes ask to go to bed if they had a heavy day at school. BUT I need to read a story and shout at least once to stop chatting. My girls eat nicely … but GOD forbid there is a single crumble of mushroom in it. My eldest pretends to vomit if she finds one. And the youngest follows like they both just discovered a rotting roadkill inside their dinner. Brushing teeth is no problem… for the eldest… but the youngest will actually put toothpaste on her finger and rub her teeth and spit …and think I won't notice… but the eldest gives it away instantly. When I ask her if she brushed the oldest one opens her eyes like a deer in the headlights when her sister lies. The youngest grins from ear to ear when the oldest lies… they are terrible at lying and I love it. Dressing is no problem until it's time for the coat… they are always too hot for their coat and if one complains you can bet the other one just removed hers so she can complain as well. (Ages 7 and 3)

I was raised in a violent household so I was too afraid to put up a fight but nowadays schools teach kids to call childline if you so much as wag your finger at them, but smacking your kids was normal when I was growing up.

Everything he is saying is so true. except my mom always says they must take after their father cause when my sister and I was younger we would keep to ourselves and play and wouldn't bother her but my kids on the other hand my daughter is a diva who won't listen and my son is a momma boy and wakes up early and pulls me up to stand all day AMD loves to scream so can never leave him and sis alone cause when he screams never know if she is messing with him or he just is screaming. She's a month away from turning 6 and him three months away from turning 2. love this comedian. you can tell he can relate to everyone with kids. I bet he makes his wife and kids laugh alot.

The bath time totally correct. my son is fine with water going on his face while washing his hair but my daughter OMG what a cry baby. she can't have water even touch her face while washing her hair as well as ears. So washing is so difficult. as well as trying to get her to flush the toilet is a pain even after just going pee. ?

Admittedly I hit the lottery with my kids: my daughter ate a carrot before I got to the checkout because she was hungry and loves brushing her teeth. My son will often come to me with his pjs on and say 'can I please go to bed now'. They both celebrate because they put on their shoes, and coats like 'good big people'.
I can relate however because the shampoo NEAR the eyes thing is REAL!!!! Dear God in Heaven my neighbor knocked on my door (I lived in an apartment and he had step kids) and asked if I needed help and if everyone was ok because my kids were screaming like I had chopped off their legs.
Also, WHY IN THE HELL dont my children wipe their bums after going!?!?!?!?!?! We have tried different kinds of tissue, getting a stand so its closer, giving them wipes to use instead of tissue. NOTHING WORKS!!! Either my sons wont wipe at all or he wiles after peeing. I say again, my SON will wipe after taking a piss. WTF!!

I’m a Vietnamese, and from what I can remember, eating ice-cream or anything before the main meals is forbidden. I just had 2 options to choose when it came to eating: 1/ eat whatever mom feeds me; 2/ stay starving ???
Bathing and brushing teeth were mandatory and I must do it before being reminded by my parents. If they ever told me to do it, then I knew what was gonna happen later ?. Before getting out of the house, everything needed to be worn. If we were already on the way and I remembered forgetting something that made my parents come back to get it, then I was really in trouble ?.
However, I’m thankful more than ever to what my parents taught me to become a discipline person :).

Brushing my daughter's hair was a constant battle when she was little – she even used to hide the hairbrushes from me. Clipping her toe nails was the worst. My son came in whilst I was doing it, from the noises she was making he thought I musr be murdering her!

As a kid I actually liked broccoli a lot (I still do). My parents favorite story to tell about me was when we went out to eat and they told me if I ate all my broccoli I could have ice cream. I ate all my broccoli, then I ate all my ice cream, and then I asked for more broccoli.
