I think College Boards had its place but with the way the world works know I think we should eliminate the College Board test I started out at a Technical school Greenville tech in SC and a lot of the classes that I had with the student that had dropped out of Clemson or a nearby University they always said that our classes were harder. Since I was studying to be an Occupational Therapist Assistant I was mostly taking Biology and Chemistry classes so that might have something to do with it. I have also met a lot of people who have had perfect scores or near perfect scores on the ACT or SAT and but drop out of college because they finally had to study for their material. I think general education and College boards need to revamp their thinking. For states should have the student take progress test every 2-3years and have the teachers be able to explain why a student should pass or stay behind another year and every two or three years have students take a progress test to see if the teachers are grading their students according to the progress test or are they just passing kids along.

The SAT tests are not a measure of how smart you are nor how well you could do in college. The college board uses their own tricky logic so you have to buy their book to study their test to send to your college for a fee. They’ve probably made $800 off of me in my high school career. Colleges should reject College Board.

Except the scoring system is pretty flawed. I literally missed /half/ of the math questions and still got a 530. Not complaining, but still a bit odd.
