My mother is Chinese Singaporean and my dad is colonial British. It is so spot on! My mother only allowed me to ride horses and show jump because I was good at it – my sister, however, lost interest quite quickly so only got a box of oranges and some study books for Christmas; I got a new horse trailer and a new set of riding gear!!!
