same, it's really hard sometimes. It kind of makes me look like a heartless human being that doesn't appreciate their friends, but in reality, that's not the case at all! it's just that I might need some time and space to clear up my thoughts and some other stuff.:) It's also really hard cuz all my friends consider me the "popular one" so I really don't want to let any of them feel like I don't like them. Honestly, it's really hard.

So, I have severe social anxiety- and my mom forces me to do social things...it's horrible. My dad is very outgoing which makes me have to stand there and almost die- not literally- but y'know. My mom, however, had social anxiety as a kid but she's overcome it. Whenever I tell her I can't do something, I have severe social anxiety, she tells me that like I KNOW! But I've lived with it for over 10 years. I'm not telling you my age ('. .) But yea- that's sorta my life. I mean, I can hangout with my friends but when I have to do something I have to ask them to go with me ;-; When I even WALK I feel judged. My parents don't know this- I don't want to. I don't wanna take medicine. I'm fine. I've lived with it for this long. There's a lot more than that. Social anxiety disorder sucks.

I started having social anxiety at the start of 7th grade, because one of my best friends stopped talking to me completely with no explanation of why. I fear of this happening to others, and because he is friends with all of my friends, it weakened our relationship. I fear everyone's opinion of me now. I know no way of coping with this. Any advice would help. Thank you.

he yells at me in public
and makes me do things that im too old to do
i just dont feel comfortable doing things alone in front of people
i just want another person there
