It's a constant battle and ends up with, taking away privileges or offering reward, but neither really works. Homework time is a battlefield and I'm exhausted. I've helped with it, but then it is expected and even demanded. Should I just let him NOT do his homework, and face the consequences at school? Please help me.

The best was when she started getting upset about really wanting a DS. She knows where I stand on the topic so rather tha re-hashing it, I used "I understand. You really, really want one" and the meltdown literally stopped that second. Amazing!
