Parents nowadays, especially fathers (since they are more important for us guys) have a massive influence. However, I have feeling that today's men don't do their job. I read about the related topic before that the reason for absence during child's upbringing for men is due their infiltration in wars, especially during last 2 centuries. For example, that resulted in many female teachers teaching male children proper behaviors and ways to interact with the world. In that way the vicious circle closes. I can assure you that absent fathers in many ways affect the GAME and the way guys interact with girls. We internalized female nuances as natural. No wonder why many PUA guys struggle with coming off masculine/present/polarized/intentional/you name it.. I think your suggestion to look for the right mentor is right on point. Besides our fathers, we can still have healthy male role-models and end up as a grown individuals. Just my thoughts. I'm looking forward to share any experience how to cut loose with unhealthy behavior learned in childhood. Let's keep it up bros 🙂

Definitely think you should delve in deeper with these topics. It's great to understand our own psychological conditioning and why we behave this way, but the biggest question is how do we break free from it? I have found that even after spending time away from parents, the patterns still remain. You notice it especially with intimate relationships. Personally I have found a lot of help from dynamic meditation and bioenergetics, and generally you've gotta be self aware as fuck 24/7.

Just an hour ago I was reflecting on how lucky I am to actually have good parents who want me to do whatever ACTUALLY makes me happy (including dropping out of course haha).
Good stuff!
