Oh you are so right! One Christmas my parents gave the Gifts box by box to my siblings and I didn’t get any. I watched my siblings play with their new toys and I was sitting there all sad. Trying not to cry. They said „ well I guess you were too naughty this year so Santa didn’t bring you anything!“ I started crying and was so upset while my siblings laughed. After what felt like an eternity they told me to look outside the front door. So I did and sure enough some gifts were sitting there for me. I never forgot that Christmas ? I didn’t think it was funny at all ?

They should turn it around and have the kids, "play a prank" on one of the parents just like your example. The best thing in comedy is to "puch up" not down, so it would be funnier if the kid pretended to break their parents phone instead!

Thank you so very much for this video!! What resonates the most with me is realizing that what's important to kids is very real and critical to them, even if seems so trivial to us. It's an important point whenever dealing with anything that is important to them even it seems absolutely minor to us! And I love how u paralleled pulling a prank on a adult , really drives it home. My family has never played pranks like that, so whenever I saw other parents pranking their children when I was little I would think they must be very mean people.
The only 'jokes' I remember my family playing on me was when my grandpa told all his grandchildren that the electricity box at the end of his property was the home of a witch that would cook us in her soup if we'd try to open the door, and how some cup-shaped flowers where toilets for fairies and if we saw a dog's footprint in mud we should check it's not a wolf by sniffing it cause wolves don't bathe… Probably he would laugh about it behind our backs, but never to our faces and I never felt bad about it.

Hi I had no idea people even did this kind of thing to kids.. We don't have a tv… I'm really glad I saw this… When I saw those children's cries it broke my heart- & totally agree with you 110% it's not funny and should never be considered as such. I also think other Tv shows that laugh at people falling and having terrible accidents while doing some activity isn't funny either – I just don't get the humour! This is a great video, thanks !!
