In my opinion people aren't meant to be monogamous. You can only learn and grow with one person for so long. And to restrict yourself to one person for the rest of your life is cutting you off from your own expansion. Also, God has zero to with marriage. The bible was edited to benefit those in power at the time. So all that crap about marriage and people going to hell and all the other nonsense people read about in the bible was only put in the bible in the first place to control people. The fact that most people don't understand this pisses me off. THINK FOR YOURSELVES PEOPLE. Or do some fuckin' simple research. The knowledge of what happens when you die is readily available on the internet.

Wow, that was very truthful and deep, because she chose to not stay and pretend that the emotional disconnection wasn't there and live in a marriage where she and her ex would become a shadow of themselves because they are forcing something that just won't work anymore. I think it takes a lot of courage, bravery and knowing what's not healthy for you and make the hard decision. I did the same for my 6 year relationship that wasn't going anywhere and it was HARD.
