This reminds me on how i get exposed to english 😀 even up until today, it's kinda entertaining to see people's reaction whenever i speak english, partly because they never expect a native asian who grows up not in an English speaking country and living with non native English speaking parents and neighborhood could sound like a native english speaker. It's the matter of training the family put on the kid and later on the kid will feel the language is just her natural language that she is comfortable with. I picked up the rule of the grammar when i studied formal English in junior high but even back then i don't think the school curriculum helps me that much in developing my ability in speaking english. They're more like preparing me for the exam not to expert the language..
