I have a 2 yr old boxer/black mouth cur male. He has been neutered. I rescued him a year ago. My friend that had him said his tail fell off when he was about a year old. He had hookworms when I got him. After that was cleared, he started to have soft stools. The vet put him on a dog food that is 6% fat and 20% fiber. He's had firmer stools since the diet change. When I got him fixed a couple of months ago, they had to open him up. He was a cryptorchid (testicles were located in the abdomen). After all that, my dog still poops in his sleep or when he's walking. I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

We adopted an older chihuahua from a hoarding situation (100+ dogs in one house) & we have to put up baby gates to keep him in a certain area of the house. He goes to the bathroom outside but also lifts his leg & pisses on everything. Poops after he comes in from outside. I don't get it. Never had a problem with any dog & they are all rescues. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I have 9 dogs and i take them out every 4 hours and I always tell them let's go potty. after they do go I tell them good boy or by name. but they still use the potty inside. I even seen one of my girls going inside.

Ms. Hodgson, would you recommend using paper first? I think it would just add an extra step. My primary goal is to have my pup eliminate only outside.

StartPotty. com was the best for my 2 kids

It is allowed to become entrenched habits Limited use it.
