Great advice, and so very, very true! When I say I love to spend time with my children, some moms looked at me like I have two heads. But its true. Just making a meal together, picking beans in the garden, going on hikes, picnics, etc, these are the moments when you can talk and really get to know who these wonderful people really are. I'm so grateful to God to have been able to homeschool and be home for my family. Its the blessing of a lifetime. The paperwork is the only thing that gives me rashes. Having to document daily stuff, when just living life is enough to fill the days. But the other freedoms are so worth it.

Yes! Homeschooling has helped me so much! I would have never thought that what we needed was more time together, but it is! And summer is also a time for family togetherness and even allowing kids to be bored which helps foster curiosity, creativity and engaging play between siblings. great advice.
