The couple with the age gap on her traveling show ACTUALLY LATER ended up on ANOTHER show and they found that the “problem” child Thomas has autism! And that he didn’t respond well to the way they were approaching discipline. They had to drastically change their methods. Just goes to show that as great as this lady is SOMETIMES THERE IS MORE going on than she sees/catches and thus her advise may NOT ALWAYS be best. ??‍??‍ Doesnt hurt to TRY her advise BUT if its not working AT ALL after weeks...MAYBE step back & try to see if there is something MORE to the issue you aren’t realizing.
Autism can cause kids to APPEAR defiant or even violent. OF COURSE autism IS NOT ALWAYS the cause. But...parents NEED to be aware rather than just being harsher & harsher on their kids thinking they are just bad kids sometimes. And even if it’s NOT autism kids can & often DO have psychiatric issues that counseling & therapy CAN HELP. So stricter discipline isn’t always the best answer or at least not alone. ??‍??‍ Which parents often spending less than 1 HOUR of quality time with their kids each day they MUST be MORE AWARE of such issues during that time.

I’d say your child is picking up swear words from INSIDE, my love. Outside means nothing to her at that age. And, I think you know that, don’t you? Lol! Children copy what their parents say, and your swearing is simply being picked up by your child. The fix? STOP SWEARING AROUND YOUR CHILDREN!
