Frankly I'd be more worried about the kind of dolls and fairytales he's into – they have to be diverse, and not just about changing yourself to impress someone you're into. No offense to little mermaid fans (the original had more teachings) but I think the Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast, Zootopia and Mulan have good worthwhile lessons.
Also has to add more colors to the wardrobe choices – there's no law that says every blonde must wear pink.
